Alan Robertson, winner of the Young Scottish Chef, 2010 Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards, will be joining the team of the famous Roux Brothers at the Rockpool Reserve Hotel. Talking about his award, Alan said: "The award was of great assistance in gaining valuable media coverage both for me and The Malt Barn Restaurant at Glenfiddich where I worked. I would strongly encourage young chefs to enter for this year's Award. Even if you don't win, taking part is a great experience. It gives you the chance to meet other chefs, showcase your skills and enjoy a variety of new experiences."
