Lorraine Pascale, author of a best-selling cookbook and founder of Ella's bakehouse in Covent Garden, is topping up her culinary skills by studying at Thames Valley University (TVU). Lorraine is keen to keep learning new ways of creating delicious treats and is studying a degree in International Culinary Arts at Thames Valley University's London School of Hospitality and Tourism in Ealing. She said: "My dad is a teacher and he's always studying, so I think I've inherited my desire to learn from him. Presentations at TVU helped me to prepare me for my television show, theory has helped me write my book and management modules have helped the business I own and founded. "I study there one afternoon a week and work for the rest of the time. Although it is hard to study part-time it's always worth it and I definitely recommend it."
