Now in our 14th winter, The Alpine Club has firmly established itself as a provider of boutique winter holidays in the beautiful mountain resort of St Martin de Belleville. We are an owner run company, with chalets only in St Martin de Belleville and a reputation for exceptional, bespoke service, fabulous fine dining food and professional, thoughtful staff.
Our 3 boutique chalets sleep 6 to 10 guests. A fine dining Chef & Host manage the chalet with support from the Chauffeur/Resort Assistant, and the 3 chalet teams report to The Resort Manager.
The role of the host is key to managing the chalet and ensuring guests experience exceptional, bespoke service and have an unforgettable holiday.
The main responsibilities are:
*Provide a bespoke, tailored service to each & every guest
*Anticipate guests needs & provide the appropriate service.
*Breakfast and a 6 course dinner service, including paired wines
*Clean & present the chalet on a daily basis to an immaculate standard
*Manage chalet variable costs (i.e. electricity, heating, logs, wine)
*Maintain general hygiene, health and safety standards

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
*Minimum 3 years service experience working in high quality restaurants or hospitality experience in boutique/luxury hotels
*Excellent interpersonal skills; personable, approachable and a confident communicator
*A genuine passion and desire to deliver exceptional service
*Excellent organisation & time management skills
*Able to work well in a team
*UK National insurance number and UK bank account essential
